Marketing Specialist – Ongoing Agency Support

Contra is seeking a skilled Marketing Specialist to provide ongoing support for our marketing agency. This is a freelance position where you’ll work closely with our team, utilizing various marketing platforms and tools, especially Active Campaign, to contribute to our growth and marketing efforts.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Active Campaign Management: Set up and manage Active Campaign for CRM and marketing strategies, including automations and list segmentation.

  • Campaign Design: Design and execute marketing campaigns, including email sequences, automations, and native AC landing pages.

  • Growth Hacking: Implement growth hacking strategies to optimize reach and engagement across platforms.

  • Ad & Email Campaign Management: Oversee and manage paid ad campaigns and email marketing efforts, ensuring they align with overall goals.

  • Data Organization: Utilize Airtable to track, organize, and manage marketing data and project progress.

  • WordPress Administration: Perform basic WordPress admin tasks and SEO optimizations to improve site performance and visibility.

  • HTML & UX Support: Apply custom HTML to landing pages and provide ongoing graphic design and UX/UI support as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Active Campaign for CRM management, automation, and campaign execution

  • Strong knowledge of Airtable, WordPress, and basic SEO

  • Experience with paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, etc.)

  • Comfortable with custom HTML and landing page design

  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and UX best practices

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently

  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on improving performance across channels
