Marketing Lead
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Marketing Lead to help us scale our impact and drive growth across all channels.
About the Role:
As Marketing Lead, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing Contra’s marketing strategy — from demand generation to brand awareness. You’ll work closely with Product, Community, and Growth teams to craft compelling campaigns that drive user acquisition and retention.
What You’ll Do:
Own and evolve Contra’s marketing strategy, aligning it with company goals
Build and lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, and social
Partner with Product and Growth to launch features and run lifecycle campaigns
Use data to optimize campaigns and track ROI across all marketing initiatives
Develop and manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and KPIs
Collaborate with external partners, freelancers, and creative agencies
Build and nurture a marketing team over time
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally at a fast-growing startup or marketplace
Proven track record of building and scaling multi-channel marketing strategies
Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Hubspot, Google Analytics, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinker with a bias toward action and experimentation
Passionate about the future of work and empowering independent professionals
Bonus Points:
Experience in B2B SaaS or talent marketplaces
Previous experience managing a small team or freelancers
Familiarity with community-led growth strategies
